Libertine has built a demonstration prototype of its revolutionary linear electrical machine for what it is calling ‘Digital Piston Motion Control’ in free piston engine applications.
Libertine FPE has won the €20,000 Climate-KIC cash prize at this year’s Cleantech Innovate after pitching their free piston technology that increases efficiency for engines and small power generators.
Libertine’s Linear Power Systems technology will be at the heart of Free Piston Research at one of Asia’s most prestigious international universities, following the signing of a partnership with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in Malaysia, which is supported by the PETRONAS oil and gas company.
Libertine is named as a lead sponsor for LinearPower2015, the world’s first technology forum for linear power systems technology researchers and application developers. This event will be held at the University of Brighton in the UK on 7-8 September 2015.
Libertine is one of sixteen promising cleantech SMEs selected for the Clean & Cool Mission to San Francisco to connect with prospective investors, partners and customers.
